The sad truth is I knew all that from memory. It's been a few months since I played the first Metroid Prime, hehe. So I'm afraid it wasn't copied or checked from the scan database.

Bigrat is right, I was sure he'd get that one.
I actually pointed it to him a week or so ago, when he found some scans about the 'Dark Hunter'.
FO, her main enemies are the Space Pirates. They might not speak the same language, but the Power Suit is fully able to interface with alien technology, and can easily translate their log files from computer.

There are many survivors. All the others are in stasis until the Ing are defeated. So there is no 'sole surviving' Luminoth.
The one Luminoth who is awake and active is U-Mos, which is what you were asking for.
