I Am Looking For Clan...... I am hoping to join SED......

Ywah,

Hey my name is stinger boy and i want to join a clan.... Here are my stats:

Attack: 42
Strength: 67
Defence: 40
Magic: 47
Prayer: 37
Range:5
Mining: 32
Smithing:34
Cooking 42
Runemaking: 4

Total Combat lvl: 58

P.S. If u can help me seed then i will much apreciate it...... I am a mage and a warrior and am good at both..... With melee i hit 15 and with magic i hit 12...... See if im good enough and let me no.....

Dont be so fast guys... this man is a liar! Everyone check his player stats!!! Stinger Boy is his username... his stats are not that good at all!!! I am pretty sure SeeD doesn't accept liars!!! I do beleive its against everything SeeD stands for... but its your call guys!

He was telling the truth for some of his stats...

Only differences are he actually has 56 str (not 67) and 36 mage (not 47)
oh, and only his combat stats were on the highscores so some of the rest of his skills must be lower than what he says too.

He's still welcome here, I think he may have just told us higher than what he actually is because he thought there were level restrictions to join SeeD.

oh Fuzzy, I think the pic in your sig is too big. It's a cool pic, but you should make it smaller TheSmile.gif

Correct me if I am wrong... but SeeD doesn't stand for liars, stealers, scammer and rule breakers. Thats why I joined? Because I respect the SeeD mission statement...

Ahhhhh yes but this was only a small lie not putting anyone at a disadvantage seed doesent stand for scams or insults or stealing he just wanted to join really wanted to join the clan and now seed wouldent be mutch of a clan if we dident give the slightest lee way or a few secound chance wouldent you want a secound chance...

Yeh... the only reason he wanted in is cause i am in SeeD... you see i know this kid personally... he goes to my school... it annoys him that i out do him so he lies about everything to do with runescape...

He is good as is... he doesn't need to lie... He is advancing levels faster then he ever has before... when will he learn? I he good... he is like 1 of my best friends but he has to learn he doesn't need to lie... I am happy for him to be in SeeD just as long as he doesn't lie about everything like he used to... He is a good player and pretty strong for his level...

Ben... give me a call when your on next... I got to tell you something... you know I am just mess with ya... but stop LYING!!! You dont need to lie to make friends... and thats what this clan is about!!!

With that logic, you make it sound like lying is accepted.. It isn't.

I personally won't trust Stinger Boy. A liar is a liar. What else would he lie about?

I can see both sides of this debate as logical...

On the one hand, some want a second chance for him, assuming he lied out of insecurity and a desire to make a good impression on us. Common for people to do that, and it's tempting to be flattered by his eagerness. But, on the other hand, SeeD very clearly doesn't come across as a clan that discriminates based of the level of it's members. People know that, just about as soon as they step their virtual feet in here. bluetongue.gif And if he lies today, he can lie in the furture. I can *definitely* see the logic in that. Especially for people who operate more from a point of good ol' common sense, rather than "from the heart."

I would go with the first option, nobody's perfect. But, no one repects a liar--and that's something to keep in mind, especially here.

I have the perfect way to fix this... tell me if you like... make him swear an oath to never lie to any SeeD members, or not at all. Other wise he shall be booted? Just put him on a probation... watch his postes for 2-4 weeks...

Thats just an idea... I know I am very much not perfect... and after hearing the "from the heart" argument I beleive we should give him a chance... Just monitor him... He is a good lad and i know him well... But I do beleive that its not acceptable to lie to a fellow SeeD member and that he needs to pledge his loyalty to SeeD and our common goal...

You could make a poll to get a finial desision...

I am with Glammeress on this one... I stand netural and its up to the mods... but thats just some idea's to make life a little simple... hope I helped...

But remeber I know Stinger Boy better then anyone, if you gave him a second chance I do beleive that he will change his attitude towards SeeD...

Respect to mods coz this is a hard one... But I stand on both sides... But I vouch for him that he is a good kid and fun to play with... he doesn't scam, cheat, offend people, or break any other rules...
