I have been receiving questions regarding what is actually official in terms of DStorm's plot and whether other GMs' quests are part of some of mine. To a certain extent they can involve the plot (though probably later when it becomes more apparent). However... Only quests, items, and characters created by Rylkan (who sometimes takes a part in DStorm but is in on the game we're making) or myself are actually "official" with regards to DStorm itself. This doesn't mean that other quests aren't real, it's just that they probably will not have significance in the real MMORPG nor the outcome of this forum.

I am just saying this to avoid confusion, not to cause GMs any trouble or anything. Since the actual MMORPG based on this takes place after the forum's story (everything has to be prepared, can't just change everything as the forum changes), it has to follow a certain defined course (the "plot quests" or whatever you would like to call them). There have been some characters, locations, items, and situations created by other GMs (such as XZ who put a lot into them), including such aspects as the factions which do not actually affect the overriding storyline or even have a place in the plot. In terms of the forum they are official though, and by all means everyone should try to take a part in what the GMs create (the upcoming GM continent will allow them to go all out with their creativity with no worries of messing with DStorm's progress). Just don't confuse them with the plot quests Rylkan or I create because they can potentially overlap and cause confusion.

Cspace.. just a quick question.. is there anyway we can be able to make those forums for the continent after without you being around? I know you are very protective and all, but you'd expect the sometimes, we'd run out of quests and such, and would need new forums, etc...

I would need to give others administrative powers for this and currently we do not have plans for that. It isn't just because of trust, but it is also due to security (I only access the admin cp on certain computers that I know). New forums can easily be created though when necessary, as long as we don't go crazy with it. bluetongue.gif
