Revival on forums:
a revival on forums such as this is when you find a buried topic, with no new posts in it for more than 20 days minimum and post in it, bringing it back into the active topics list (aka, the front page). often, the newer pealple who read it will have no idea when it was posted. they are sometimes revived for a good reason, sometimes for ignorence. very rarely they are revived to make a point. in this point, they are revived because it is fun.

Revival in games:
in a game where you "team" up with more than one character a character will often die. then the person left standing uses a cure item or some other such things to brign them back to life. after they have been brought back to life, aka, REVIVED they may contiune to fight anohter day. there are many ways of reviving someone, but more often than not the title of the item has the letters "a" "I" or "e" in them. they can also be revived with a spell, called life. however it does not fully give all there hp back, so a cure is needed.

Medical revival:
sometimes peaple die, and this is a fact. if they die before their time, a trained medic will start performing CPR. this is an attempt to REVIVE them so they are breathing and have a pulse. if you start CPR you are not allowed to stop until an ambulence gets there. 7/10 revivals are succesfull, however this is only the first one. the chance of you surviving a revial decreases each time you die.
