If a poll is posted relating to an idea, I will always link to the thread to which it is relating. If you feel that an idea will affect you and you wish to have a voice, then after reading the suggestion you should vote in the poll. If I post a poll, then the majority will win unless something hinders with the process (creating names to gain extra votes is against the rules and could result in action taken against you). As of now only Rylkan and I can actually post the official polls (often it relates to updates on the site, and if we physically cannot do something then we cannot have polls going regarding them; doesn't mean that it cannot be discussed though and possibly changed). Unless an idea will harm something, including future plans or goals for the site/clan/community, we try to go with what the members want because only they can say what is really needed.

A poll will not always be necessary though. If someone thinks of an idea that would benefit the site and would not harm anything, it could be accepted instantly. Such suggestions would be ideas for content and features which will not affect anything going on currently. A poll is more often required for changes, not additions.
