There are some ideas that have been brought up over and over but cannot be implemented, and I'm just going to post them here so everyone knows. This doesn't mean that if included in a suggestion it is an automatic "no", but it will probably not be accepted at least in its entirety.

Deleting Members (SeeD or forums): Regardless of whether for statistical purposes or for the convenience of knowing who is active, we are not mass-deleting members (at least until a real problem arises with the server itself requiring otherwise, but I don't see this anytime soon). For statistics I can check other more detailed sources and quote them, and more would be lost than gained by just knowing who is active. More would be gained in the long run by having the door open for old members to return with their profiles and everything intact.

Eliminating The Garden System (SeeD): Changes can be made to the Garden system but we are not going to eliminate it. We are also not going to delete inactive Gardens, we can do something with them but they must stay intact so members are not deleted.

Recommendations:

- Please don't state a problem without at least part of an idea for a suggestion.

- Don't directly say that anyone is wrong. Saying things along the lines of "this is stupid" or "bad idea" will only hurt the one who suggested it. After all, he/she is actually making a suggestion to help CurvedSpace or SeeD, and putting down the one who suggested it will cause members to think twice before posting a great idea they have. Instead, try to think of a way to improve it, their bad suggestion could lead us to find something that could actually benefit things.

Mod Goto: This will be enforced. I have no problem with constructive criticism (It's very useful, and this board would be pointless without it), but if you're just going to insult a suggestion and whoever suggested it, don't post at all. If you feel the obligation to post in what you feel is an unsavably bad idea, at least say why you don't like it, and keep it constructive.

- Keep in mind that the larger the suggestion, the less likely that it will be implemented in its entirety.

- Lol, don't go around and try to start an uprising to get something done. If you cause problems to get something through it will backfire. In a large clan it is a common belief that no single member can make a difference but that is not true in SeeD, and you don't need to create a big scene to get attention. You can think of SeeD as the big clan that behaves as a small group, we are entirely based on the members and last I knew everyone here is one (well, almost). grnwink.gif

Mod Hyper: Don't forget, no matter how short the suggestion, it's always worth a look. For example, I just had one that was only, essentially, 2-3 sentances! bluetongue.gif
