BTW a little known fact, and probablly the most horrible thing in us history is how john smith & the mormon church have been persectuted, and drove across the land. |
Yes, that was horrible.
But what is worse was what they did to the Indians when they got to Nauvoo.

This is going to sound somewhat heartless, but hey. I am part native american. Because of casinos and stuff, we indians are rich. If not for the US's westward expansion and genocide of my races, I would probably not be able to get any money when I'm older. It was still horrible, though, but we came out on top in the end. Now I can sell cigarettes to people tax free and make a killing.

Heh, sounds just like what the NZ government is doing for the Maori.

I believe that what Japan did to the US in WW2 was the worst thing that has ever happened. A lot of people lost their lives that day in pearl harbor because of a stupid reason. Well now that im thinking more about it i think slaves probably suffered the most in the US History.

I see nothing wrong with what Japan did at pearl harbor. We were going to be at war with them any moment, they just made the first move. Besides, we payed them back ten or twenty fold at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As for the slaves, they suffered a lot, I'll give you that. The thing is, they have many descendants, us indians don't. At least they got to live.

Okay,
1: We were not about to go to war with anyone. Japan brought us into the war via Pearl Harbor
2: I've realized this is a stupid topic to start, just as some others in debate history. While there have been some good arguments, I don't see why we must debate who felt the most pain.

Actually, the US was looking for ways to get out of the Great Depression. A war gives many jobs, which ends depressions.

It isn't stupid. If you don't agree with it, don't post in the thread.
