Hey. Just happened to be coming off an hour of playing tennis with my dad, had a lotta fun, I think I may have improved my swing.

I just thought I might make a thread for... RAMDOM TENNIS DISCUSSION, so anyone here who likes to play tennis can discuss things like their swing, rules, what they've done lately, and tennis players worldwide like Roddick and Federer

For me, after playing about 5-6 years, I've been told my swing was horribly wrong (often accidentally lobbed it, sliced it). So, for the last two months, I've been learning topspin on my forehand/backhand shots. Forehand's been going pretty well, I think I've just about got it. Backhand... still working on it

So... DISCUSS!

Currently, I just like rallying N stuff... But I love to do approach shots, 'specially when someone does a weak lob... Hehe... *Smashness*

im gonna take up tennis in highschool [becomin freshman] i played it when i was young and i was really good at it..til i stopped playing and found out about runescape...lol just kidding..i dont know why i stopped but im really good at it..and i like what the females wear

Oh puh-leez I'm thinking of trying out for JV this year or the next... I'm not THAT great, but I suppose I could make it if the competition isn't that bad...

Hehehe I "lollipop" serve the ball as my coach says I'm average at tennis and I'm getting there I've improved from when I remember my first game Here is what kind of took place if I can remember:

Me: "Whoops.. Can someone get the ball from over the fence?"
Person 1: "Jeez Jonny, go get it yourself"
*runs and gets the ball*
Me: "I'm gonig to serve (under arm) it so get ready"
*Smacks it into the back of someones head*
Me: "Whoops.. Sorry!"

I use to completely own at Tennis, but then I stopped. Now I suck but I own at raquetball.

I used to play tennis ALOT until i moced...now im not as good....

However, i dont have your problem, instead i lob my backspin backhand alot....or i end up putting too much backspin and it doesnt quite make it over....

I "perfected" my serve a while ago, but after notplaying for so long, i only have like a 1/10 chance of getting it in...I hit my seconds flat.

I've been playing for the last few days, and the weird thing is that now, I get most of my backhands right, but sometimes I struggle with the forehand shot now It's gettting confuzzling...

My brother is a tennis freak. He's going all over the place for tourneys, but hasn't been doing so well . I feel bad for him.

I used to play tennis myself and was really good (in my opinion), but stopped so I could put my focus on my swimming (second best breaststroker in area, by next year: #1.... I hope). If you give me a racket now, you might as well be asking for someone to get hurt. In other words, I'm terrible now.

As for my favorite tennis player... I'd have to say Agassi. He plays a different game than everyone else, is like the oldest tennis player there is, and.... I just like him for some reason.
