Well, since no one's gotten it yet, but I'm absolutely certain someone can, I'm going to give a hint. My apologies to any Australians not online at the time that this hint is posted.

It involves the Coliseum. Collosseum ... however it's spelled. It doesn't translate directly anyway...

Oi! There are some New Zealanders that answer these questions too! twak.gif

If it is in the Coliseum then maybe you have to trade and item and then you'll get the eggs bluetongue.gif

Another hint. With the approval of Goto and/or BigRat, I could make this question worth two points since it's got such a long answer...

Hint II: It's a multi-bet process.

NZers are just Canadian Australians. Yeesh...

Easiest way I know of is:

(Bet in order at coliseum)

Fenix Down -> Magicite -> Elixir -> Rename Card -> Marvel Shoes -> Tintinabar -> Exp. Egg

But if youre strong enough to beat Mr. Chupon, you really dont need an exp egg.

Oi! We ain't Canadian Australians!!!!!! screama.gif

We are... people. And Maori and Pacific Islanders (not me) and many different cultures so there! angry-smiley-019.gif

And for your information Goto I think it was something said that there are more sheep in Oz than NZ. Or at least I think that... I'm sure I read that in a book somewhere... I've confused myself now!

Well, I only knew it going as far back as the Elixir. ( You can steal an unlimited number of them from the really weak enemies on the island where Cid dies. Somehow a farewell speech from a dude in a raincoat doesn't match the drama of Celes' attempted suicide. ) Stuffy got it, though, and he gets two points for it.

Of all my accomplishments in that game, beating Mr. Chupon is the bestest one.

For the record Cressie, Cid doesn't Have to die. If you feed Cid only healthy fish, eventually he will live. You can easily tell which fish are healthy or not by how they swim. If it isn't swimming real quickly, chances are good that the fish is bad. Do that long enough, and Cid will regain his health. Cid dies if you dont feed him enough for a while, or feeding him bad fish makes the process quicker.

I'll come up with a question in a bit.

Edit: Something for you to work on BMatt, prove Cressie wrong grnwink.gif

yay! so he doesent have to die.... ill get right onto it as soon as i find the cursed cd again. *looks at huge pile of game, music and back-up cd's behind him*

MoS: It is a mini game of sorts.. I want to say that his life depletes with time elapse. If you feed him a great fish, +3... good fish +2... fish +1 ... bad fish -2 ... leave the house area -1. At least that was what I went by.

Sometimes I was lucky and got a ton of excellent fish and saved him within 20 min... sometimes it took 2 hours because all I got were good and plain. All about patience.

That's pretty much precisely what I said. Hence the comment that "a farewell speech from some dude in a raincoat" doesn't match the drama of Celes attempting to kill herself. Hence, I always choose to have Cid die because it's better for the story.

You knew exactly what I meant... I explained quite well that I prefer to let Cid die because the drama of his farewell speech ("a farewell speech from some dude in a raincoat") to Celes leaving the island on the raft doesn't match the drama of Celes attempting to kill herself.

Stupid FFMQ.
