QUOTE(Crescens @ Sep 8 2004, 01:39 PM)
In Final Fantasy IV, what spell could be cast to skip going through the dungeon in which the Earth Crystal was obtained (the one with all the trapdoors), where and when the spell had to be cast, and who in the party could cast the spell?
{lang:macro__view_post}

Actually, when you first retrieve the Earth Crystal, the party was Cecil, Yang, Tellah, and Cid... The crystal you're talking about was one of the underground Dark crystals... the Sealed Cave to be exact. Thats the dungeon with all the trap doors.... and I'm pretty sure it's Rydia, Warp, After beating Golbez and going to the throneroom of the dwarven castle... heard about it and I did it once out of sheer luck...

*edit: and actually, I had a savefile right after I crashed for the first time underground bluetongue.gif*

Blah, that one I would have actually known.

Yeah, I think it's Crusader. I generally avoided using that one too much. Actually I never summoned any of the espers much.

Just to annoy the heck out of Cres, I'm gonna ask a FF8 question or two (actually, 4). bluetongue.gif

1. What different figures appeared underneath the flying saucer, and can you match each figure to the location you find it?

2. Spell out the names of Squall's limit break and odin's attack (try this without looking it up).

3. Which of Quistis' attacks defies the law of composition of matter?

4. On a scale of 1 to 10, what do you think Cres would rate this game at?

Wasn't its name Pupu or something? I didn't bother with the retarded sidequest.

2. Spell out the names of Squall's limit break and odin's attack (try this without looking it up).

Renzozuken and Zantetsuken

3. Which of Quistis' attacks defies the law of composition of matter?

Which of Quistis' attacks completely sucks because they can ONLY be used when health is ridiuculously low or when a status is put on a character? Pretty much all of them.

4. On a scale of 1 to 10, what do you think Cres would rate this game at?

-5.

5. Why was this piece of garbage even made?

The world may never know.

First off: JGJTan got it right thumb.gif You've got the next question

Secondly, grading Cressie:

#1 ..... WRONG!!! twak.gif
It's a cow, a moai, a pyramid, and... it looks like a plant to me.

#2 ..... WRONG!!! twak.gif
It's Renzokuken, you did get Zantetsuken right tho...

#3 .......... I assume Shockwave pulsar or something... but: twak.gif *directed to Alpha*

#4 ..... WRONG!!! twak.gif
It is common knowledge that this game was made for Cressie... He may say -5, but he feels 10... in his heart... *audience awwwws*

#5 ..... WRONG!!! twak.gif
See #4 biglaugh.gif

*hides in a shelter away from Cressie* Flush.gif

I dont think i ever did get shockwave pulsar (but i've had it used against me...). Anyway, that's not it. The attack is degenerator (100% death to any enemy save bosses). The others are right though, and I'll let your answers pass for #1.

No, #5 is because Square needed to make FF8 but ran out of ideas. So they made it a love story bluetongue.gif

Well, your question was rather vague, so I went with one of the more difficult skills to get... But

According to Alpha, #4 and #5 is correct, so get him and not me!!!

The law of composition of matter states that matter cannot be created or destroyed. In the degenerator attack, it gets destroyed. bluetongue.gif
