only thing i need to understand is how to get gold gloves or boots or if they exist ive seen several people walking around w gold on hands and feet

I believe you can buy the gloves and boots to the East of Varrock (Morytania), but don't quote me on it.

Lordy! Welcome back, good to see you again Yeah, RS has changed a lot... SeeD too.
And Killer's right about the gold robes. You have to be a member and do the Priest in Peril quest first though.
