Did you change any settings before it started to happen? if not, dont change any settings... Unless theres maybe a 'Restore Defaults' button or something...

If it's the first time you've loaded RS, (I'm guessing it isn't) and you're running a Windows XP machine, then a little pop-up appears from the OS saying that it might be bad, "Do you want to continue loading this?", it gets hidden behind the window, and I didn't notice it for ages...
This happens on our school computers, it stops on animations also, I think it might just be that it's blocked or mis-configured...

It's because you scrolled when it loaded, or it's just loading, if you let it stay that way, it will load, or you just restart computer and then play rs, that works
loading freezes? just restart and try again, it happends to me too often. Error connecting? just try again, it's not that hard, aint it?

Probably parental blocked knowing how screwed up aol is. Mature Teen setting
Serp, You using your home computer?
its not the firewall b/c before 4 days ago my firewall was nonexistant. & Yes i am.
Its never worked on my computer. i can only play when i go to my dad's. hence the low level.
It is not error connecting it just stops when the bar says "loading animations"
Edit: I get ERRER CONNECTING in rs classic. & in rs2 at my dads. but i just retry

Error 105 - Unable to connect to game server.
Runescape was unable to connect to the game server. This is most likely caused by a firewall blocking the connection. To resolve this:
If you have firewall or security software installed please ensure RuneScape/Java is allowed to open outgoing network connections on ports 43594 and port 43595.
Note windows-XP service pack 2 has built in firewall software. If when loading RuneScape this asks if you want to allow the connection, you need to say 'yes'.
If that doesn't help then an external firewall may be causing the problem. Please ask your network adminstrator/ISP to open ports 43594 and 43595 for TCP traffic.
If problems persist then please refer to our technical-FAQ which can be found in the FAQ section of our website.
