yeah, this isnt so much as a problem more as a "im getting annoyed badly" thing. i finnaly got my new pc to start working, after putting it together (Woo Hoo! no hardware faults biglaugh.gif) and its wont play runescape. none of the java options i select seem to work, i just get that annoying little X in the corner of a box. you know the one....

So yeah, i have the microsoft VM installed, and it isnt working, nor is sun java (not sure if i had the latest version installed though) so does anyone know:
A) where to download the latest SUN java stuff or
B) how to get the Cursed VM to work?

thankies......

Personally, I stick with Sun. Microsoft... eh.

I'm running Java 2 from Sun Microsystems, and it seems to be working fine.

Download from http://java.sun.com/, using the Most Popular Downloads bar on the right. I may update...

It's called lag. It comes from too many people being on screen at once.

HI! I'M BACK SPORADICALLY! Nobody probably remembers me :(

Did you happen to notice that no one posted in this thread for a year and half before you did, Science Guy? >.>

And what that was was lag...

It happens to me all the time -- no big deal. :-\

Runescape takes up too much space for what it is.

This topic is for RuneScape problems. Not you ranting about the file size. If it is too big for your liking, then you should know that you don't need to download it. What do you think people did before Jagex offered RuneScape for download? Use your browser.

I do not know, if you still need help, however try uninstalling then reinstalling java. Go to Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs > (Look For) Microsoft Java (Something like that).

If you do not have java installed, or simply to reinstall, go to http://www.java.com/ and follow the instructions there, anyway noticed it was only a couple days old. So I figured if you still needed help, I might as well reply, eh? biglaugh.gif
