This is my promise for the mods given the responsibility to suspend and myself...

If you let us get the system going, provide a chance to improve things, and give us the opportunity to deal with new situations, your concerns will be handled. Every single one. Your leniency concerns, your strictness concerns, and residual conflicts which can happen as a result of action. We will handle everything that is against the rules and worthy of suspension on a severity basis, not an unfair situational basis. Give us a month, that is what I ask.

And please, don't complain about situational issues about a system which hasn't even been implemented in anything yet. Mods will not abuse it, and if they do they will lose their mod rights. Situations will be handled, we won't let anything realistically worthy of suspension go. This means that we won't ban over a single accidental sarcastic remark, but we will do something about any direct flaming (for example).

It will be done, if you have any trust in me at all, let us handle it. Let's stop the scattered complaints about the old system and let us display the new. Please, just hang with me this time... Otherwise we will never have a system which will benefit our clan if we can't even try things out.

Yeah, noone should worry about this at all. It's just suspensions. grnwacko.gif If someone suspends someone that they shouldn't be, Cspace can just fix it up and they're back. Nothing permanent can be done. grnwink.gif

Ah....Well, I'm not a mod but...That example didn't exactly look like direct flaming to me.. o.O ...Was it supposed to be an example of a sarcastic remark?...To me, flaming is rash choice of words set into an outbursting run on sentence ^^

Well said Draggy and Cspace bluetongue.gif The thing is, as for suspensions, it's not like a mod will suddenly lash out because of the smallest thing and suddenly yell out, "You're banned!" It's a very scarcely used precaution, and we'd only take it if something really, really serious was going on grnwink.gif Even then, it would only be temporary anyways.

Lol, it's already (nearly) happened to me.

"You're getting suspended if you do anymore flaming", even though it clearly says in the rules that they only have to suspend if it's something that can't verbally be worked out. bluetongue.gif
