With the chat room back up, there could hardly be a more appropriate topic in my opinion. Back before the chat 'ploded (lol, I talk like it was so long ago ) it wasn't uncommon for the chat to be quite populated on weeknights and randomly on weekends. As you could imagine, some crazy things happened. Op Wars, apocolyptic schemes to take over the world, fights over Star's Reeses, debates over the renaming of Earth (Eorth???? ), and the seemingly neverending war between Crescens and the Mr. Saturns (along with some forgotten topics of a slight bit more sanity ).

Well, this is the thread to list your craziest chat room experiences.

Hehehe... I had a "bap war" with Star once. And one time Obi accused Goto for abuse of mod powers, cause he gave everyone low-level mod powers...

Hehe, I remember that. Obi kept flooding so I voiced everyone but him and threatened to mute him if he didn't stop .
That particular instance of Base taking over the chat isn't really a fond memory, though.

Anytime a random person would come in we'd start talking about random topics in the hope of scaring them away. Generally we were the SeeD Band, with MoS on the harp, Bigbro on the piano and Star as the triangle-soloist prima donna. Once or twice we were 'SeeD', a flower delivery service delivering flowers all over the world.

There were a loooot of OPWars, although I wasn't an OP at the time. Then I created #seedcat so that everyone could join in with the opwars!

Hehe, those chat raids were pretty fun, at least for us (SeeD). I remember one raid because like eight SeeDs invaded one chat and they banned everyone except me... Why? They thought I was a 68 year-old trying to teach the "incompetent youths" how to conduct a responsible chat. The ops said that they would feel guilty banning me.

Hehe, started getting active in the chat right before it went down; probably should do so again. Pity their server only allows their java client (meaning you can't connect with mIRC, SysReset, Trillian...).

My whackiest experience was probably when there were about 5 or 6 of us Op'd, randomly changing the topic.

I think so. It was when the rampant topic-changing had died down, so I changed the topic to a (scrambled) insult, then Bigbro descrambled it and said it, and got kicked because someone thought he actually meant it Sorry 'bout that Matty!
