Raising 'dead' Topic Big no-no

For all the people who just joined, can you please not raise 'dead' topics. Dead normally means past the first or second page, and it's really annoying to see a very old topic where everybodys questions have already been answered.

(Could a mod pin this if neccessary)

Yup, thats been a problem with a few people recently. Not that they'd know, new to the forums and all. I've been pming in a few cases just to mention it, but not all.

I think this should go in GD because this really isnt a Q. Also, I think some people raise dead topics to bump/raise their own post count.

My opinion is that if it's something everyone should see, go ahead and revive it. If it's already had a good amount of attention, or it's something like "yay I beat dragon quest," there's no real point to reviving...

I'll pin this for a bit.

If you want to revive and discuss the topic, go ahead. If your reviving it for laughs or for post count, don't do it bluetongue.gif

Raising a dead topic by saying "yay i postd in da last topic" will not be tolerated. i give 1 written warning, then BAM BAM BAM!
