Taru Warrior, they so cute 
It's possible (I've seen Taru PLDs, he had over 7 million worth of equipment including 1 of about 10 behemoth+1 mantles in circulation atm, he had over +200hp worth of stuff), but will be very expensive. WAR's most important stats are STR, HP, VIT, which all happen to be Taru's lowest stats, next to MND. Taru do make very good THF's though because they have the second highest DEX of any class (only beaten by Mithra).
A good site to use is http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/ , it's got about 500 of the quests in atm, and looking on the forums will help you choose equipment for your char (ie, look at the WAR and Taru forums).

I'm a level 6 RDM, i was a level 7 with good stuff then Echi convinced me to start again to play with him so i did and then he starts again in another place! i was quite annoyed but im good again because some random guy gave me some things.

I'm a lvl 8 Galka warrior, using leather armour and a big shiny axe 
About 10mins after I started somebody spotted me looking lost in the cooks guild, gave me 5k and invited me to his linkshell group (something that would never happen on rs
). I wandered around, found the auction houses, bought some bronze armour, got lost in the newbies area and died a few times. I've now found how fishing works (slowly 
) and making some nice money off moat carps

I've sort of been waiting in Jeuno so that I can finish the last part of G1, kinda annoying now. Got the paper, (we only got one drop of it in 4 hours ), and the mold (got it while xping), but when we went to get the coal we saw this: http://ffxi.allakhaz...y.html?fmob=566 and a huge alliance fighting it. It could hit you even though you couldn't even see it it was that far away, and it poisons everyone in the area which does 20hp damage every 3 seconds . 18 of them were fighting it for 20 minutes before we left and its hp hadn't moved at all, it was still full
