And if you don’t believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a Favor: go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cd’s and burn em’. 'Cause you know what? You git, he doesn't mean if you saw them die. He means if someone died and their, say, family member or good friend posted to say he died, how would you react?

Duh.

I bet silver died. :weep:

I would be sad, fo every life is precious. Even if I don't know them in person I would still be very sad.

I would give a great effort for them to be remembered, start a topic remembering what they did, anything to really honor them. But past that, I really think that regardless of who might have perished, we would go on being SeeDs, brothers and sisters, good people to each other, as that person might have wanted us to do.

To me, honoring some unknown person on the internet is practically mocking them, like a rs funeral..........

Just pray for them and live on.
And now we have the quote of the day, from greenl2l: PLONGED!!!

I've been through it before actually. A respected member of a game I played a while back died in an accident, and his brother was also a member and broke the news to us. We all offered our condolences on a thread and offered our prayers. Personal friends who lived near them offered to help the family with whatever they needed. That's all we could do... face21.gif

I'm pretty bad at dealing with stuff like that, so I don't know how I'd react. sad.gif

There really isn't a lot that can be done from the other side of the world, other than posting how sorry I am in a thread, and trying to help anybody that knew them well.

I would put their name in my signature and leave it there forever so that all the SeeD members could remember the person who died

I wouldn't really care, unless the news came from a legit source (Ie. Goto got whopped on the head by an oversized grand piano and died, and bigrat told me, I would believe that (Well, I wouldn't exactly believe BIGRAT, but two close friends in real life)).

If their 'parent' came on and posted, I wouldn't believe them, because people can get hacked, and I have experiences of people in this clan making things up to gain sympathy.
