Vulcan, unlike the oblivious others realizes that something is assaulting Lucien. He immediately pulls three juggling balls out of his pocket, which glow black and red. He holds his sceptre:

"Serpentine Shield!"

The balls race around Lucien, deflecting some but not all of the blows.

"Yes.. but until you take it to the museum to refurbish them, they are useless."

Lucien suddenly recieves 12 more cuts, all on his face, now.

BIC: *Xin realizes that Lucien's in trouble, and uses his old claymore to slice the air in front of Lucien.*

OOC: Didn't you say my claymore was "pure" or summat, and it could damage your spirit creatures? I know it doesn't do the plus 500 anymore.

Yuo slice at the air in front of Lucien, as he twitches forward and you manage to smack him on the head. He bleeds more.

Lucien is now dead.
