I never had more than one flagship at once, please don't make false accusations. The only bug that I could have abused was trading a flagship and I wasn't aware of it being a bug until after it happened. I didn't do that again, seeing as I don't cheat to gain an advantage in anything I do.

As for OMN cheating, you used a spy. Whether it can be classified as cheating or not, you used a spy in a friendly clan game. How can anyone in this clan have fun in a CLAN GAME if they think they could have spies?? You ruined QS for many people by doing this. Every time someone plays the game, they will think they are being spied on. Great Fun Whatever_anim.gif

If continuing to play the game after being killed is considered exploiting a bug then Star Jedi is guilty and anyone else who was killed (many people were). Maybe this game shouldn't be put up for play until bugs are fixed, that would solve problems. As for exploiting bugs to gain an advantage, I don't think anyone in the game did this, including OMN.

The multiple flagships thing I meant was the trading thing, I meant to say you weren't aware it was cheating, somehow missed typing it. This 'Friendly' little clan game is about wiping each other out of the game. Now I personally wouldn't use spying to win given command of a clan (last enemy that offered it got wiped out of the game by me shortly afterwards), but it's a legitimate tactic, was suggested by Airwalk and is by no means cheating. I didn't actually see anybody else keep playing after their escape pods had been destroyed, I assumed they'd started new accounts, I'm willing to admit that I was probably wrong. However cheating and saying 'Other people did it' doesn't really give you the moral high ground to be denouncing the tactics of others. bluetongue.gif

As well as the two instances I mentoined, I found something else slightly odd. When I conquered one of your 'test' planets, I found it had twice as many colonists committed to Electronics than were actually present on the planet, the idle colonists were in the negatives. I'm not sure if this was an unintentional bug you hadn't noticed or if you were using a test planet to test some bug exploitation, I'm not going to claim you were cheating without actually knowing that to be true (just as you shouldn't claim others are cheating because they employ tactics you don't like).

Heh, technically the only player I'm 100% certain was not cheating was myself. I stayed out of the game once I was defeated, while I did talk to Airwalk all he told me was the location of a planet I'd found days earlier (not that spies are cheating, once again), I kept a very careful eye out for unintentional bugs occurring that might give me an advantage, and I didn't exploit the half a dozen or so bugs I've found in other QS games. If I chose to, I could have wiped out anybodies planet with a single ship and with a minimal amount of turn loss. No fun playing a game if you can't play it honestly, eh?

As discussed on Aim, the negative colonist business happens when you jack someone else's planet. I would know, since I took a good 5-10 planets and every time you do that, it messes up the colonist to work ratio. Happened on your planets, actually, and you don't gain anything by it.

If trying to accuse me of cheating is your agrument, then go for it. I'm not trying to start a fight, as you have mentioned. I'm clearing stating how the game is ruined when people can't play without checking their backs for spies.

As discussed on Aim, although I haven't actually seen the colonist thing happen when I took other planets, I'll take your word for it. My knowledge of the game isn't absolute or anything.

Please Base, I don't want this to turn into a fight. That's what is likely to happen if you keep complaining about 'cheating' and 'dirty tactics'. I was going to write up a big long rebuttal to what you put in, but that really isn't going to solve anything, it'll only make things worse. I think the smartest thing right now would be to just close this topic until people are a little calmer. I really don't want a fight breaking out over something as minor as tactics employed in a game.

Smods, you're free to re-open this later if you want, but I ask you as a favour to just leave it closed for now. Chances of a fight breaking out seem pretty likely from what I'm seeing here and on aim.
