just get a simple keyboard for $5-$10... if you really want fancy, it's $20-$25.. but no, it isn't much.

besides... I don't know for sure... but I think you can take a hose to the keyboard part itself and wash it. Nothing too important in that part. And, if it's broken, what do you have to lose? grnwink.gif

Heh, I'd advise just going to office max and buying a whole new keyboard for 20 bucks. It's often cheaper than getting it fixed, and, if you try to yourself (unless you're a mechanical wiz) it'll likely get worse, no offense.

Ah, just like me...A while back I was typing on my story, then suddenly my space key broke! eek7.gif I was wondering when it would snap. So I broke the other end on purpose so it wobbles now. Atleast it still works. Good luck on getting a new keyboard.

It is all better now....I found an even older key board in the garage this morning.
and look NNNNNNNNNNNNNN BBBBBBBBBBBB ?????????????????. it works! headbang.gif buying a new keyboard prolly' would not have been an option any ways. I live in the desert about 10 miles from the nearest store that sells one...and its snowing---that it does not snow in the desert is a myth-- also this comps, um, I guess its called a port, takes one of light bulb socket sized keyboard plugs lol.

thanks for the advise though, every one, and I am just glad this did not turn into one of those month long struggles I somtimes hit with my comps.
