How do I get it. Im doing that horror from the deep quest. Is it hard?

kinda, youll have a lonnnnnnng way to walk, go to port sarim, bring a bucket, go to the monks island, go to the sand box and use the bucket with it, grab the glass blower in the house, go all the way to the other side of the island to get seaweed, get alot of it, then go back and use the seaweed with the range,, use the range, not the furnace! and then after that, use the soda ash from the seaweed with the furnace and voila! you have molten glass...

you actualy dont need the pipe(you only need to make vials and things like that)
