Ok, so i just started MapleStory, (lvl 7) and i was wondering how it works for getting on the same world/server thing, and getting together. I know that there's the group thing ingame, but i was wondering if we have a group created, and if it can be joined so seeds can talk to eachother (is there a friends list for messaging?)
hehe, full of questions i are.
thanks

There is a friends list.. And when you have friends on at the same time, just roll over their name and it will tell you which channel they're on (if they're not on the same one). Besides, it only takes about a second to switch channels on this game, so, just go on any and find out where the others are.

thanks, that helps (looks for the button to bring up the friends list)
We ought to chose a server/world (so, what do they call them?) as the "oficial" world, that way we can group up a little easyer. mabe. for events, that way you know its on the "seed server" makes hosting events easyer. (like back a million years ago when SeeD RS had meetings still, it was always world 9)

Hmm, but channels 1 and 2 are usually th first to go when there's a lot of people. If we do monster killing events, we'd need the emptiest channel avaliable.

The fuller a world gets, the quicker the moster respawns are, that's why I train on a pretty full world.
Yet still you'd be training with loads of other people on the map, means you don't get most of the monsters.
