For everyone that's celebrating Christmas, how's your tree? Fake, real? Small, ginormous? Bright, too bright? The lights outside, too, those are always a big part of Christmas.

We got a real Christmas tree for a change, we wen through about every single one of the hundreds of trees at the farm or whatever. bluetongue.gif My dad's a Christmas tree expert of course, so we got the one he liked best. The one we chose was practically right next to the road. But no, we decided to walk all the way around the farm to get to it. screama.gif

Anyways, jsut wondering what everyone's got for decorations and trees. It's always a fun thing, especially since everyone does it pretty different. TheSmile.gif

We usually get a real one every year - dunno about this years though. We're a pretty late family when it comes to Christmas and getting all the presents icon_sweatdrop.gif

As for the decorations, we like to hang candy canes, (sometimes grab some when no one is looking bluetongue.gif) those decorated balls, tinsel, lights, little minature decorations and some old home made decorations from when I was little grnwink.gif

And of course everything on the tree is colour-coded - I make sure it is biglaugh.gif

^^ Thanks Ayumi, you rock!! ^^

Hmm.. we have a plastic tree, with all those little colourful fairy lights and stuff you can eat, like candy canes hanging from the branches! biglaugh.gif

For outside, we have these reindeer things, with the lights, and they look all purty grnwink.gif

i still have to go up and put fairy lights up around the house hanging from the gutter TheSmile.gif icon_sweatdrop.gif

We had this real tree we kept and used every year for years and years, but a couple of years back we just bought a fake tree. It's probably about... a little under two meters (including the pot, though), so of a fair size. The thing I like about it though is that the lights are actually built in, little fiber-optic (maybe, just a guess) ones that are made to blend in with the rest of the tree, so it shines from all over. They change in colour, and there are various different patterns you can choose from. Then we just hang up a whole bunch of ornaments, tinsel, lots of shiny balls, etc. This year it has a lot of blue and gold on it, and mostly red tinsel. The star at the top is a little heavy though, so it tends to bend at weird angles. bluetongue.gif

It was actually a pretty cheap one, but it looks really great when it's done in a dark room with all the glowy lights. biglaugh.gif

*Defenstrates non-existant tree* bluetongue.gif

Actually, our family doesn't have a tree. Instead, we've got a menorah or two shining brightly in the window, a few lil' Chanukah stickers, and all that stuff bluetongue.gif

We've got a fake tree, about 8 ft high. Bunch of lightls all over, with a blinding shiny star at top.

No pun intended.

1. Full-size, real tree in the living room... haven't bought it yet. We only get a ~6 ft tree, but it goes on a small table to make it seem taller. (Plus, more room for presents underneath bluetongue.gif)

2. Small, fake tree in my room. It's shorter than I am, and quite thin. Lights are on but I haven't added any ornaments... here's a pic with my crappy QuickCam:

3. ~1 ft fake tree in the bathroom (on the counter). I'd take a pic, but my camera won't reach.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.
