I go to a public school. I think the 6th graders think they own everything after coming from 5th. First of all, they travel in packs. I never see a lone Sixer.

Today, something a little funny happened between me and this little tiny 6th grader.

I mean, the height ration was, like, 4:1

Like this:

Me

Him

I just got out of gym and I was in a rush to get to my bus. Someone steps on my shoelace, (which was untied, due to the rushing). I think, okay it was an accident.
Then, someone steps on it again. Then I hear stomping as I bring my foot back and kick some kid in the shin.

Hard.

I turned around and said to the kid," Stop. NOW"

He says," Learn to tie your shoelaces."

I say," Learn to shut your mouth."

Now here's the funny part. He says," Wanna mess?"
I just burst out laughing. I mean, heres this kid who's head barely reaches me stomach asking me to fight. Then he said,"Didn't think so!"

lol10.gif I swear, the sheer stupidity of some people these days.

HI! I'M BACK SPORADICALLY! Nobody probably remembers me :(

Theres always conflict in my skool between "popular townies" and "grungers" but nothing really happens, the minute a townie says "wanna fight" and a grunger says "yes" the townie leaves...

I had a chuckle at this, the same things happen at my school except the Freshmen are beat up. Im a somphomore right now, but most of my friends are seniors so I particularly have a problem.

Height makes a huge difference. Height can be boiled down to muscle size and reach; if your taller, and proportionate, then you will have a longer reach then the shorter kid; you will also be stronger (assuming neither of you have lifted weights) becuase the bigger the muscle, the stronger the muscle. You being taller naturally have a bigger muscle. Being crazy and adrenaline makes the difference; I have never seen a crazy person lose a fight and when your high on adrenaline (lol) you don't feel a thing in a fight.

Teehee, the same thing happens at our school, but much rarer (Posh private school bluetongue.gif)

There's a few 'skitzo' kids, and if you annoy them in the slightest, they'll start a fight. Not ask, start. For some reason, they always win, because they just ram their fists anywhere, and as Supernova said, they've got heaps of adrenaline.

I admit...Same thing for us...The stubs (as we call them...like stubby short, or stubs on the BOTTOM of a ticket, take your pick, not too different.) Do identically the same thing.

However, Height DOESN'T matter at all. If I were to examin this kid I could tell you if he was potentially dangerous (Martial arts standards any way...) Though not like I couldn't tell you if he had a pocket knife or something. But if he does, hopefully you have long legs so you can kick him bluetongue.gif

I was assuming that in school most people don't carry knifes. Also, most people stab in the gut, that does nothing. The correct place is [well] below the arm pit area.

If he knew martial arts, he would have seen my kick coming when he tried the second time. I knew it was his shin I hit.

But yeah, Asy's short, and he's nearly a black belt. I think he takes his test on Fri.

Knives are common, last year someone brought a machette to our skool and once there was a huge war thing, people carrying baseball bats around etc.

Lol, that sounds like something from GTA: SA.

Had the same problem at my old school, two 'skitzo' kids in the same class, anyway one day one of them went psycho and got a plastic cricket bat and started whacking everyone, so I ran up to him and tackled him, after that he wouldn't dare touch me. One the same day the other 'skito' jumped on to his chair and fell out the window, fortunately it was only half a meter drop.

Ditto. I'm a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do (similar to karate but Korean), If the kid did martial arts he would of kept his distance and see what was coming.

rofl.gif Quite funny, I must say. bluetongue.gif The thing is, in our school, there is a system of hierarchy. Each grade is higher than the next. No grades ever interact with the other, except possibly in the hallways. As a rule, really, except in mental or physical states, 9th is considered "higher on the food chain" than 8th, which is higher than 7th, higher than 6th, blah blah blah. When you have a 6th grader that acts like he owns the place, gives an 'elder' mouth, it's essentially unusual, because usually that kid has no idea what he's getting himself into. icon_sweatdrop.gif
