New Zealand

New Zealand has loads of beautiful nature, large bushy fields, volcanoes, snowy mountains and beaches. Even though the humans have buildt large cities modern arcitecture, nature is still kept intact, and rare animals which cannot be found in any other places on earth can be found here.

New Zealand is home to the Kiwi bird, and huge parrots which are the biggest in the world. The New Zealander's love their nature and has gotten a lot of attention for their anti-nuclear policy. New Zealand is great for tourists. Quiet and relaxing beaches, and the country is great for skiing, yachting, scuba diving, and fishing. Farmers have settled in New Zealand as well, and huge sheep farms are quite common.

The first natives which settled on New Zealand were polynesian seafarers. They came about 800 years before the arrival of the European voyagers. The famous seafearer James Cook claimed New Zealand in 1769 for the British crown.
