lol10.gif Cats in general shine themselves pretty well, but that's beside the point.

It would be pointless to shine my own boots.
Main problem: they don't start shiny

Also, after standing in ponds and tromping through mud (and clay after standing in the pond, or swimming in it sicka.gif ) and everywhere else that can possibly be dirty the best thing for them is a hose.

Well zoo, it kinda depends on what your boots are made of. My boots are leather, and they didn't really start shiny. Nor was I trying to make them shiny. The shinyness is a byproduct of polishing/waxing boots. When you put a good coat on, it protects the leather, makes it water resistant, and restores the "out o' da box" look to them.

So, as long as you clean your boots first, polishing them can help them last much longer!

which is good, cuz my boots were quite an investment....

Well, i don't think the woven nylon, fuzzy leather (i'm tempted to call it sueded but it's not) and rubber would take to kindly to the polish bluetongue.gif .

Maybe it's just because I'm a fox, but I wouldn't have minded either way! bluetongue.gif
