Do you remember before when you were young
When everything was dark and evil,
When all that was here was anger and pure hate?
Now I can only see the tar
Blackening the lit horizons
And the red and orange skies
Ember off into the distance.
They cry as they celebrate the new day rising.
The children of the Four Corners
Bleed on their fallen aspirations.
This is the time now when they will hear our voices
As fallen children shout, "Brotherhood!" in unity.
This is when our fire will being to glow
Through the candlelit lantern eyes.
Hear the whispers in the night, slowly resonating,
Claiming the hate as their own.
Watch the holy morning turn to nothing,
See the children's fire light up the evening skies.
I can still hear the little lost souls bid,
"Where are we..." only to get the patronizing echo "Home..."
