In the spirit of the Time Capsule, I thought it might be fun to post some of the old PMs we have lying around from a while ago, stuff that is amusing or just stuff you want yourself/others to remember. Not a lot of point to it, but if we get some of the pretty old SeeDs doing it things could get interesting, hehe. Please though, nothing conflictish or confidential.

Hehe, Rat before he got active/civilised. He posted in the SeeD Marketplace, and I PMed him saying it normally wasn't very active. Notice the horrible grammar.

Note: This private message has been sent to members who have been at least fairly active recently.

Has most of you have probably noticed, SeeD is been rather inactive recently. Not too many posts, barely any events, some forums totally inactive, etc.

A great thing that a good amount of SeeDs haven't noticed yet is that there are no more conflicts!  They've been a huge problem for us for a very long time. Now they've finally come to a stop. We've got to seize this chance! The quality of SeeD must be improved, and this can only be done with the help of members. How? Here's a list of some things you can try to do:

-Hold an event! This is a great way to get SeeDs together and to have a ton of fun. Cspace has even recently been supporting this by throwing in extra emblems for holding one.

-Use the forums!  Many forums have become inactive, making the 'boring'. Try to help get inactive forums running again like DarkStorm for example (if you've signed up).

-Post suggestions for SeeD. The Suggestions/Ideas Forum has been very inactive lately. SeeD and CurvedSpace are always looking for suggestions to help improve the forums, sites, and whatever else that needs improving.

-Try to help out the Galbadian Legion. Post suggestions for SeeD's Army in the Suggestion Forum so that we have a great military for this clan. Maybe some training, new positions, whatever you can think of. It all needs to be apporved of first of course, so please either send the suggestion to SeeD Support or post it in the Suggestion Forum.

-Vote for SeeD! This will get us more members which will improve the activity here and gain some new, great members.


There's much more you can do. SeeD/CurvedSpace is an ever-improving (think I just made that up ) community. It's supported by its members, not just Cspace. Cspace has been doing his part, now let’s do ours. Let's use what Cspace has made available. If you hold an event now there's sure to be people eager to attend it. Interact with each other and have fun! 

And if you don't have much time on your hands to do any of this, show some enthusiasm!  Support SeeD as much as you can acknowledge others and their ideas. Take a look at this thread and you will see some true support from our members. Just that really does help improve the quality of SeeD and the community. SeeDs like to be in a place where everyone has positive attitudes.

As all of you must know by now, Cspace is soon going to begin expanding CurvedSpace by setting up guilds/clans in other games. CurvedSpace is a gaming community and it can't stay with only Runescape forvever. This definitely needs the help of SeeD's members: you. If you play an online multiplayer game and enjoy it, set up a guold for SeeD there! Just this can really help improve the site's traffic. We'll gain many new members and SeeDs can spread into other games that other members have set up guilds/clans in for CurvedSpace. Please check out Cspace's thread on this topic in the Announcements Forum for a lot more information (and I mean a lot ).

With the help of SeeD's members we can reach a long awaited Golden Age. And in this Golden Age we can accomplish much and improve SeeD a great deal to make this community as interesting and fun as possible.

Remember, any one of you can make a difference here. Just one person even can help SeeD greatly. Help SeeD. Make a Difference. Enjoy yourself.

With quite a few of our smods/mods becoming inactive here, it might be time to start thinking about promoting a few people. Here are just a few suggestions I've thought about a bit...

Phieta for Smod... He's been active here over a long time, is well liked, has done a great job modding General Discussion, is quite handy with computers (and always around to give suggestions), not to mention responsible. I think he'd be a great choice for smod-ship.

I will highly consider Phieta for a new smod job (great choice), and will check to see who could be possible moderators. This would be great for the community as a whole, as well as maintaining activity and managing the board more efficiently.

Why you're not on aim.... You're online, so I thought you'd be on aim, or seedchat..

I would be, except I've been extremely busy. I can't really be on #seedchat while working on the site or anything else, and signing onto AIM is difficult with the number of windows open while working with the server, site, forums, and everything else I'm doing.

I should be signing on a bit later, however now I'm working on another update to CurvedSpace.

Oooo, update, tell more, tell more!

Placing something to the bar on the right side of CurvedSpace (a Space.Com news bar under the shoutbox), adding to the 'Pure Creativity' section with some good Flash stuff, adding to DStorm, possibly updating the download section a bit, and a few other minor things here and there.

I'm also likely to add your commands to the chat with this update, very sorry that it took so long.

Now my commands are gone And it took him about another 6 months to put on that space.com bar

Anyway, I've been researching Saturn and the mission for quite a bit and would be glad to answer any questions you may have. I would like to make a request for
1) You to stop swearing in your posts
2) For you to stop constantly hold grudges against other SeeD/CurvedSpace©  members, and express them on the board in your posts.

It is constantly annoying, much less degrading to our community, for you to be swearing on these boards. Yes, people may swear occasionally, and yes it does get cencored, but it portrays a bad image if every single one of your posts has *'s in it, especially for a super moderator.

Second of all, it also portrays a bad image for the SeeD/CurvedSpace© community for you, or anyone else, to be posting about grudges, and how hard done by they are in a clan. If you have problems with other members, please sort them out off the board, not on the boards. I know you have had past troubles with SeeD members, but you are not in any problems at the moment, but for some reason you feel the need to raise old problems. In you doing this, you are making it much more likely for more conflicts to break out, and you will be blamed as being the cause of it.

I'm sorry, but if you continue on with the attitude you are using at the moment, I'm going to have to PM Cspace about this conflict, and get him to deal with this personally.

Hey Star Jedi,

As I was looking through the forums, I noticed that you mentioned being interested in a leadership position based on conflict resolution within SeeD.  Previously you have helped quite a bit with solving conflicts, so I thought that I'd consider you for a high position in this area.

I still need to contact Rylkan, though I believe that you would make a very good "Leader of Conflict Resolution".  Basically, you would take charge when conflicts come up and try to keep them under control.  It's kinda wide open, but this position gives you the necessary authority to solve problems (you would become a super mod to enable you to do this).

Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, and if you're truly interested in this job.  I'm sure that you would do a very good job
