A Cloaked Wraith And His Lycan Assistant

*A wraith in a large black cloak and his assistant, a lycanthrope, converse in the streets of Shral Valeron*

Wraith: "Frionia must be conquered, it is the only force stopping Valeron from fulfilling its goal now..."

Lycan: "M'lord Ner'val, but if we attack Frionia the pitiful Aderon will fight with them. They say they're neutral but their old alliance still quietly exists. They won't let Frionia fall. And Aderon, too, has friends..."

Ner'val (the wraith): "I know that Zetayn, don't you dare question me again."

Zetayn (the lycan): "Sorry, m'lord... I just..."

Ner'val: "You should know when to be quiet, lycan, so be quiet when I speak to you. You're a worthless dog, do not ever forget that I am your superior and you must do what I say. Or I can have you chained up and tortured by the minions under the citadel. Do you understand, lycan?"

Zetayn: "Yes, m'lord. I will not speak until asked."

Ner'val: "Good. Now if you could look beyond the surface you will see that Frionia is within our grasp. Aderon is no worry, and neither are their friends. Aderon is ready to fall if we give it a shove, and we won't even need to fight."

Zetayn: "What is your plan, m'lord?"

Ner'val: "Strife. Forlon and Aderon are already at odds, they just need a shove and they will plunge into the abyss of war. They will destroy each other, and when it's over Frionia will be left, already torn by the conflict, for us to take with our full strength."

Zetayn: "Brilliant, m'lord."

Ner'val: "Lycan, I didn't ask for your opinion. I am ordering you to deliver this letter to Sir Flansburgh of Aderon. No questions, just go. Return if they don't kill you first."

Zetayn: "Yes m'lord. I will be on my way."

*Zetayn leaves Valeron*

Ner'val: "And I am off to Forlon. After Aderon falls I am sure to finally gain the power I deserve."
