Cool, you could be a good person on the track team. I also did the mile run a while ago and got 6 or 7 something. I forget since it was a while ago. The record for our school is 4 minutes and 45 seconds, lol.

Hey all,
I'm in track, and I run long distance
. My mile time was 5:32 so far this year, and my 2 mile was 11:43. My half mile is 2:18. The other day, our coach timed our 5 mile practice run, and I got 32 minutes. I think our best half mile time is 1:54. Our best 2 mile time is like 4:30 something . . . and our best 2 mile is 10:25 I think.
Keep up the good work guys! If you want to increase your endurance, run a long distance, but to increase your speed, do speed workouts (continuous sprints, timed 400s, etc.) This is really good advice if you're planning on running in the future. Trust me, working out like this will greatly cut your times
.
Good luck with all your running endeavours,
GM8
