My friends were using my internet and somehow got a virus on here. I tired from ad-ware SE to Spybot S&D and my mcfee. Now i can't download anything when i am on a computer it starts the download then stops at 4% or whatever. I went to update my computer and stuff but that no work. i tried and system restore that no work

Whatever its doing it closes my internet after a certan amount of time(thats why i have bad grammer sorry) Any help??? My brother came here and went through everything i got and nothing came up... I am doing all i can but can't fix it. Its come down to wip out my computer then start from scratch. And it only affects my internet...

No we have 7 computers using hte same thing and mine is only one that is flipping on me. I had richard(guy who does are internet connection) says i got a virus.

if it only effects your internet it's most likely not a virus. a virus effects files on your hard drive, so you're probably going to know when you boot your computer that you have a virus because it usually executes itself to change the autoexec.bat and config.sys files to its liking, and crashes your system in the process.

but anyway, what browser are you using? if it's Internet Explorer, i would try running a full spybot scan again, remove anything that comes up, and then reset all defaults on your internet properties. spyware removal programs don't change back what your spyware changed for itself, because they don't want to change your custom settings. go to internet properties and the programs tab and hit reset web settings, then to the advanced tab and restore defaults. if that doesn't work then either you're not using IE or it's probably something else and i just wasted all this time writing this. post results tho if you have IE.
