I have an idea. Have you ever started a new topic and wish you had the ability to delete it?For example:Have you ever advertised that you were selling something, then ended up selling it to someone not in seed? Then your topic is still there for no apparent reason............
My suggestion is that we give the option of deleting a thread to the member who started the thread. He can acess it through the "edit" button. Then we wouldn't have to bug the moderators to lock a thread or delete it for us,since we could delete it ourselves. What do you think?

I don't mind deleting threads. . . all you have to do is ask. Then again, this idea could come useful if none of us mods are around.

I think that this is a good idea, BUT ONLY FOR THE MARKET FORUM.
Example- you start selling something, then someone else buys it for higher than you're offering. The person who you already promised still has their hopes up, because the moderator didn't get it in time (no offence meant Baseball).
In other forums, it wouldn't work real well if you ask me.....
