Mkay, so I'm chopping willows, talking to some guys, minding my own business, etc.
A guy walks up to me and calls me a noob. Ok, I thouhgt, I get that all the time. Then another group of high levels (to me) walk by. "Hey look a noob lol!".

I just ignore them. They just keep talking about "i hate all these noobs who are just so stupid" and stuff like that. The usual miniclipage.

"It would be better if everyone that joined after last year was banned".



Right there i snapped. Guess what retards?

I started playing a LONG time ago, back when I couldn't spell Excalibur right (thats how I got my name).

I'd have a nice, sturdy, combat level 84 account with awesome skillz. But no, I somehow got my account stolen (DURING my big break from RS, so I couldn't use the 'recovory questions have been changed' thing to my advantage), and now I'm stuck with this POS.

I just feel like crap seeing all these people I used to be better than, now I'm just looking through the eyes of a nooby lvl 38.

What I'm saying:
1. Anybody who says the word 'noob' as an insult.
2. I hate miniclip for advertizing Runescape
3. I hate all the stupid people who ruined runescape.


I'm pissed. And tired.


If anyone has any tips, tell me. Otherwise, go away.

BTW I'm not saying all miniclipians are retarted, I'm just most retarted Runescapeians are miniclipians.

You just got to try and ignore them. They're the real noobs. If it gets to the point that your just about to go all out, put public chat on friends or off. You can also just try to vent and tell them off . If they're STILL pissing ou off, call me over . Hope this helps some.

Jagex made a VERY stupid move for allowing miniclip to advertise them. It's a mistake that their paying dearly for now. Most people that joined from miniclip are complete idiots that know nothing about how an MMORPG is supposed to run.

Tips? Turn public chat off. Leave Private chat on. And if any one of those people actually have the gall to PM you and insult you, then tell 'em to screw off and add them to ignore.

Morons should not be tolerated.. and I'm going to throw them all into the earths core....

You guys must just be hanging out in the wrong areas. I very, very rarely have people who annoy me in game. I'm constantly having conversations with whoever is around, if there is anyone around. Either that or everyone just carries on with their business, which means there's still nothing annoying.
but then...I try to avoid F2P when I can, because there's just too many beggars on there. Whenever I'm on there I either get compliments or "give me something."

There were always some bad apples, it's just they seem to be forming a larger and larger percentage of the RS population. They're right though, your best bet is to ignore them, or put chat block on. People like that are going to be too stupid to listen to anything you say anyway, so it's not worth the effort.

Ya, that's because back then you couldn't see players' combat levels unless you went into the wild, so they wouldn't tell who was a noob or not.

All you gotta say is "Got nothin' better to do, huh?" Chat blocking works of course, but for myself I prefer makin' fun of them since it's kinda easy. I remember once a long time ago I was in the wild and almost got killed by another player. I escaped and all of a sudden a bunch of them that were higher levels than me were following me calling me a noob. Shows that they really have nothing better to do. I don't see how people take "noob" as an offense, all it means is "new player" or somethin'.
