I don't know where to put this so.....



Alright guys I need some help I am kinda lost. I am 14 I haven't seen my dad (as a guy he is pretty much my hero) in 7 years and he seems to think he can just pop in anytime and be a dad. I need help it gets frusterating he needs to be here or not. Since he left it is hard for me to trust cause I'm afraid they will leave.

I kinda know how you feel, its not with my dad though. Well you need to trust because if you don't you can never have a good marriage, you will be the "super strict" parent. ECT. just talk to your dad and let him know you don't appreciate what he does. I mean he's you dad. He'll understand. That is if you can talk to him...

Wait, I don't really get what you mean. How do you know he thinks he can pop in anytime and be a dad. Phone? And what do you mean you are afraid 'they' will leave. I'll try to help, but tell me the problem more clearly.

But I can't imagine not having your dad with you. It must really REALLY suck.

It seems like your dad doesn't quite understand the full responsibility of being both a husband and a parent... Do you have his phone number? If so, I might suggest talking to him, and not just some kind of basic, "Hi, how are you? Okay, bye," kind of thing. Spill your guts. Maybe he'll understand, maybe he won't... It's quite likely that he's a really good person, but some people are quite like the fathers that you might see on TV.

My parents are divorced and I can't call him cause he lives in Germany I live in Hicktown, Oregon USA. I can't trust anyone for fear that they will betray me. It is really complicated! Thanks guys,
