The main purpose of this poll is that it seems like a lot of people that have the ability to fish lobsters and swordies choose to fish lobsters. Lobsters also seem to be the choosen food over swordies a lot of the time. Just wondering if this is actually the case or not and why if my prediction is correct.

Lobsters. Easier to get, quicker to get, and easier to cook too.

Lobbies since they're quicker to get. biglaugh.gif

As well as if you plan to get a certain fishing level, you can get a balanced amount of experience per load. grnwink.gif

i did swordies and tunas and it got my level really high in a few days. i dont see much of the problem.

tuna gives like 10 exp less than lobsters, and u get them really fast, and you can just deposit them cause fishing guild bank is right there.

then i switched to lobs cause i had 5k tuna and like 3k swordies bluetongue.gif ... but i like harpooning cause it does 3 jobs :

fish for training food (tuna)
fish for f2p pking food (swordfish)
fish for fishing exp

While I have been a lobster-person for quite a while, last time I was doing much fishing I decided to do Tuna and Swordies, and I think I prefer it. Actually I prefer having some of all 3. Swordies are a poor-mans sharks, good for dangerous places, quests, etc. Lobs are good for training when you want to stay a while, or when the enemies are fairly strong. And I use tuna when it's not as important, when the enemies are a bit weaker.

i agree with goto

i have four kinds o' fishies in the bank all all times, use each of them for diff things ... sharks for pking, swords for f2p pking, lobs for hardcore training, and i use tuna most of all, esp when slaying (and esp since you can often buy them in mass quanities for 10 gp ea from roachey ...

... and I don't much like to fish. grnwink.gif
