Battle System:
- Physical (normal weapon damage) attacks can be roleplayed, but they cannot have any effects other than damage relative to your ability.
- Ranged weapons cannot be used in direct combat when the target is fighting back unless someone is fighting with you on your side. Also, strength has no effect on the damage caused by arrows.
- Unless otherwise specified by your abilities, you must be in the same location as your target if you wish to start a battle. To do this, start a thread with your initial attack. If the character does not respond within ten minutes you can post your attacks one-after-another without time restrictions.
- You can only use one ability or attack per post unless affected by a certain ability. If you have ambidexterity or a similar ability, a normal attack will do the damage of both weapons combined. This is the weapons' DP bonuses being added together, not damage based on twice your strength.
- If you are roleplaying a battle, it must be specified in the battle's start. If a battle is roleplayed the result is not official, but no real rules apply. In a roleplayed battle you can do anything your mind can imagine (while roleplaying) as long as it doesn't affect a location or higher level forum. Hit points do not even need to be used, all rules and stats can be obsolete if desired.
Ok, so as you see, this is the section for the Battle System. We'll just go over the whole thing cuz I'm not sure which parts you may not understand.

The 'Physical' part is where you attack someone with some kind of weapon, ex: sword, axe, mace. You do the amount of damage that you get from your strength, plus the amount of damage from your weapon. (Note: Your starter weapon [the one with the special effect] does not add any damage. It adds the special effect as long as it is equipped.)

The 'Ranged' part is where you attack someone with some kind of long-range weapon, ex: bow, crossbow. You can't use your ranged weapon in close combat when your target is fighting you with a physical weapon (you can shoot at other bow people) unless there is somone else fighting on your side. And as it says, strength doesn't add anything to your arrows.

With most of your abilites, you have to attack someone with it from the same location they are in. But with some abilites (will usually say in the ability description) you can attack them from another location. You start a thread (or post) in the location they are in and say you are attacking them with such and such abilities. And, as it says, if they don't respond in 10 minutes you can continue to attack them without time restrictions until they respond. (Will go over abilities more later)

This means that you can only use one ability or attack every turn unless one of your abilities that you used say otherwise. The rest is about the ability, ambidexterity, which is used by warriors.

This is talking about a roleplaying battle. I'm not totally sure if we even use these, but yeah, it pretty much says everything in the description.
Abilities!!!Well, as you know, abilities are the special things your character can do. Each different class has a different set of abilities. If you don't understand how to use abilities in a battle, I'll give you an example.
Sample RP:
(Enemies Turn)
Skeleton Warrior lunges at Oric and slashes at him for 100 dp!
(It will then usually list the enemies hp, ep, dp, and abilites)
(Your Turn)
Oric takes the blow, and uses:
- Jump Attack (1000): EC=400; DP=160: The Warrior jumps into the air and hits the target with his/her weapon(s) from above. (A warrior's ability)
on the Skeleton Warrior!
As you can see, you say you use the ability, copy and paste which ability, and then specify your target. Remember, before figuring out which abilities you have, you must decide on a class! To see a real battle that used abilities, you can here:
http://www.cspacezon...showtopic=22760This is a quest, so you might have to skip a bit to get to the battle.
