Playing around in photoshop beginners luck

well, im a total n00b at photoshop. i started playing around with lens flares after a friend showed them to me. i had fun fiddling around with a few settings, noticed something id made, so i chopped off the excess and heres the result:

click the thumbnail to see the full-size pic. i call it my pearly sphere. not bad for beginners luck, eh? bluetongue.gif

note: i only posted the pic 'coz goto told me to. damn you, goto! *shakes fist menacingly*

Feed the plushie!
(Rayquaza plushie? WTF? It doesn't look anything like the other plushies!)

the top one kinda looks like a lightning orb, and the other one reminds me of somthing imploding.

The pearly sphere looks really really good for a beginner. Nice light effect btw grnwink.gif
i'm just curious what were u trying to do or thinking of when doing this... felt like there is something more... :S

The lightning orb looks great! the circle thing looks like a person looking out as if in a well o_O
