Firstly, for your strength correction... Let me quote:

Strength Effect (per point): Normal attack DP + 5

You see, it's the regular DP (170), then +5 for each point. For example, let's say that I have 1 stat point reserved for strength. You add 5 to that point, and you have 6. Then you add another, add five to that, you've got 12. It's times 6, not 5.

Then, about the dwarven race... I see that you haven't noticed that I have changed my race. I'm an ogre. An unusual ogre, but an ogre nonetheless. And ogres, unlike dwarves, give 60, instead of 57, hit points for every vitality point.

Err... Normal attack DP means the damage that your weapon does, not the strength points that you have... So for example I have a blade that does 102DP and 50 strength and Strength gives me a +5DP bonus, it would be 102 + 5*50 DP which is 352DP.
