[X Zolon]

A mysterious large building is seen on this mysterious floating island. The island is small, but large enough for the house, a workbench, a few trees, a lake, and a few other scattered things. There is an old man sitting out here. He seems very wise, and powerful.

[X Zolon]

A purple cloud arrives. A golden one also arrives. The clouds hover to a bunch of rocks and beam energy into them. One turns a strange glowing yellow color, the other, a cruel purple that emmanates darkness.

[Darkness]

Oric jumps off it and grabs the rocks.

[X Zolon]

Suddenly the sole inhabiter of the island is in front of you.

"And.. exactly, where would you go?"

[Darkness]

"Oh I just jumped on the cloud and ended up here. I really have no clue where I am."

[X Zolon]

"Haha! Young fool.. well, I suggest you put those down before they tear you apart like half my experimental blade collection.."

He points to a heap of.. well, you can't figure out words for what it is doing, but it isn't pleasant, in fact, you wish you hadn't lookeed, because you feel like tearignm your eyes out and falling off the island and going mad.

[Darkness]

Oric puts them down. "So what are they?"

[X Zolon]

"Heh. If you can't tell, you aren't going to learn what they are from me... or at least.. not yet.

But I'll say there isn't a lot of it. I just exhausted my last bit of a vein. And that vein lasted me 5 minutes.

Look.. are you busy? I'd be ready to sell my blades to someone who could find my me a source of it..

Aww.. shoot.. you can't even tell what it is.

Well.. fine. the purple stuff is Valronium. The Yellow is Unrefined Skyrite. That's the stuff legendary equipment is made of. I fashion blades from this stuff, but I keep running out. I use these clouds to suck energy from veins and transfer it to regular rocks up here, but the veins are rare and small, so I usually get one or two rocks worth per vein. If you could find me a large supply of the stuff.. I'd be willing to start selling some of my wares. Not only do I have blades, bu I have armor, I can summon clouds, and I can produce all manner of augmentations. Also.. I would be happy to share a little of my research as well..."

[Darkness]

"Sure, I'll help! For weaponry, armor, and research!"

[X Zolon]

"They won't be cheap, boy. Anyway, here.. I hear there is a strange man in Maldenar who has some rare items.. perhaps he has connections. Go."

You suddenly see your vision spin, turn to red, to blue, to black, to Star being a turkey, to many sand dunes. they are a blur, getting closer, closer.. closer...

You crash through a dune and end up in Maldenar somehow.

[Darkness]

Oric pops up and gives the seal to the man.

[X Zolon]

"Thank you. I can now send my clowds in there to retrieve the ore's energy..

I can now craft many rare blades. Check back once in awhile. I may have created a new item from some of that new ore."

[Darkness]

"Okie dokie!" Oric says.

[X Zolon]

The man suddenly changes his look.

"Hmm... that's neat. I can use that.."

[Darkness]

"Are you talking about the other glowy rock?" Oric says, since he hasn't left.
