Well, I'm pretty sure that typing your IP address into the address bar of your browser can bring up some options and information on your connection... But what to do with that, I dunno.

Just for future notice, the best way to find out your own IP is to do the following:

1) Go to start

2) Run

3) Either type 'ipconfig' or 'cmd'

4) (ONLY IF YOU TYPED CMD) type in 'ipconfig'

Either way, depending on your version of windows, you should see your IP. Remeber don't use the ' or the ' when typing them. bluetongue.gif That should give you all your information. TheSmile.gif

You're not hooking it up through your computer, are you?

solution: get a router and a crap load of cable (50 ft)

Or ifconfig if you're running linux, but anyone running linux would be smart enough to know that. bluetongue.gif

Or just use http://www.whatismyip.org/
