Maybe we could implement it on the news on our site? It would be handy to just check in bookmarks, instead of randomly checking, to know that something new had happened. It would also add more use for advertising there for events, as past members could check using that. Maybe we could just add it into the events forum too, that would be handy. I already use the RSS services of cnet news and slashdot, and I've found it to be great.

The link I mentioned above used a script that worked for me. It works fine, so if Cspace has a free 5 minutes he might implement it for us newsfreaks.
EDIT: Been poking around, IPB comes with SSI stuff for RSS, if you set 'Events' to the news forum, and make the ssi.php accessable, we'd be in business

This works through webpages, but Firefox incorporates it in its Bookmarks menu. You can add their rss to your Bookmarks, and it acts like a folder, it then expands in the Bookmarks and shows the latest 10ish topics, or in this case, latest 10 new updates from our site. I have the code working properly, so I just need Cspace to contact me about the right code.

I sent that to your email Cspace, but you might see this first. I've customized it for your site, you just need to extract it. Contact me if you need any help
Also, you might consider adding '$number = 10;' somewhere in there, I just thought about that. Just above '$template = rss;'
