Staff Positions
Note: Members of the Dimension Zero Staff can have up to three positions. They cannot change positions until the issue currently being worked on has been released unless they haven't worked on it yet.
Editor-In-Chief: The head of the newspaper. They take care of posting staff application requests and recruiting new staff members for the DZ newspaper. They just make sure everything runs smoothly, that each issue is a success, and whatever else comes up. Like editors, they can write stories, edit stories, whatever they want, but mainly stick to their main job of maintaing the success of the newspaper.
Editors: These guys take the articles that writers post in the staff forum (or other editors) and edit them, making sure there are no grammar mistakes, that it is of suffiecient length, and isn't offensive in any way. They can only be articles from their section though, but someone can edit up to three sections so that they'll have a variety of things to cover. Editors have a big part in the organization of the newspaper. They move the fully reviewed and possibly revised articles in the staff forum into the appropriate newspaper sections when the issue is ready to be released.
Editors can also write stories themselves. They should try to make sure everything is covered in the newspaper, like all events going on in SeeD, all the news, etc. The newspaper needs to try to cover everything, not just the most obvious and important things, so the editors need to help out.
Writers: They do the obvious thing: write articles. The writers write as many articles for their section in the newspaper as they can (have to have some significance of course). They need to be of sufficient length and cover the right thing. Writers need to make sure every "story" is covered. So every event going on in SeeD need to be in the newspaper. Everything going on in SeeD and all new updates in SeeD need to be in the newspaper. You get the picture.
Writers need to try and provide pictures for things that go along with their articles if they can. Like for event reviews, if screenshots were posted they should post one or two with the article. Or if there's an article about a member, they can put the person's avatar with the article or something that represents them. Things like that. The pictures make articles more appealing to the eye.
Photographers: These guys handle the pictures/screenshots in the newspaper. if somebody needs some pics for an article they're writing, they get a photographer to he;p them out. The photographers have to make sure the pics are resized so that they're not too big and they're cropped down in certain cases.
DZ Designers: Only a few of these are needed, it can be side job of the most part, unless someone doesn't want to do any article writing and is only interested in this.
These guys make logos for Dimension for advertising and showing off at random areas in the newspaper.
We're hoping to get a couple people to advertise DZ in their signatures so that even more SeeDs are aware of it. So the designers can give the newspaper some style and let people advertise DZ in a snazzy way. They can also design special banners for holidays or pictures. Whatever suits things. Maybe certain announcements can have them. An example would be a "Merry Christmas" article in the news section. That could have a nice, snazzy title image. 
These guys can also do photography of a sort, like helping submit pictures like screenshots from events or of forum posts.
DZ Newspaper Sections
Here are descriptions of each section and what you're likely find in them:
SeeD & CurvedSpace News: The general news of this community basically. It'll mainly be updates to SeeD, all news that doesn't belong in the other sections. Another thing this could include is new organizations in SeeD started be members themselves. Also, whenever there is a holiday during the month of that issue then it is posted about here. Like "Wish You A Merry Christmas" in December.
All news things that occur in the newspaper itself are here, too. Things like updates to the newspaper like new section(s) being added. New DZ Staff members and promotion are in the Members section though.
Members: This section is for everything about members. There is the regular article that welcomes all the new members to SeeD (has their names listed) which is made by going to The Lobby and adding all the names of people who registered their since the last issue. Also, if a member leaves the clan they are given a friendly farewell.
Along with welcoming and "farewelling" members, there will be articles to congratulate members for promotions. This includes any Rank of Leadership given to a member (in the Ranks section), SeeD Rank Promotions (would be taken from Cspace's occasional post
), Official Titles (you need to notify us or we won't know), Medals (again, need to be notified), SeeD Emblems (found by checking the SeeD Emblem Claim forum, only one article is needed for this), and forum groups (moderator, super moderator, etc.).
This section even includes members' random achievements, such as a large achievement in RuneScape (100 combat, 99 cooking, etc) or in any other games, and any other achievemtns not belonging in the areas already given above.
There of course will never, ever be an article that critisizes any member, even if they are an enemy to the clan. The newspaper isn't here to start rumors and critisize people, so don't expect anything of that sort in here.
Events: Whenever there is an event held in SeeD that was posted in the Event Forum, we will have info on it here. We will include a list of upcoming events (with links) in one article, and then reviews on recent events just held in SeeD (an article for each). There'll likely be screenshots in this section from the events for readers to view and maybe advertisements logos made by the hosts of events.
RuneScape News: This is a temporary forum until we can implement news sections for other factions SeeD is in. RuneScape remains the most popular at the moment and is the only one we have for now. Anyways, you'll find updates in here on RuneScape at the most, probably including quotes from the main site as well witha review of the author themself on the update.
DarkStorm News: This section will cover all newly updated features to the Forum RPG DarkStorm so that players don't fall behind in the game. There may also be articles on news for the possibly upcoming *actual* game of DarkStorm (depends on what Cspace lets us know ).
Gaming Reviews: In here will be pure reviews on games for the PC, Playstation, Nintendo, Xbox; games from any area. So here you can find out of SeeDs' point of view what the latest games out there are like and if they're worthy to try out.
Joining The DZ Staff
If you wish to become a member of the Dimension Zero newspaper staff, you're going to have to wait until we ask for it. Obviously we can't keep staff members forever, and there's sure to be new sections added to the newspaper, so when we need new positions filled we'll requests applications in the DZ Main Chat forum.
