Read that and use the image button (IMG) at the top next to http:// -- Easier then using the code by hand. Follow the instructions it gives you, however you must have the picture hosted somewhere, and then you simply enter the URL where it is hosted.

Suggestions:

Photobucket
ImageShack

Photobucket allows you to create an account (public or private) and basically have full control. Imageshack simply allows you to upload, I believe once uploaded you cannot remove it, and basically anyone can see it.

I suggest not giving out your password, can be bad if the wrong people get it, however if you are confused a smod+ can edit your signiture for you (I believe that's what you mean) -- As for the e-mail part, you confused me.
