I know there is a topic about the rank SeeD rank thing, um what is the SeeD rank for again? I kinda forgot. Also what rank is the higher one, 1 or 3?

Erm...you get them for...being good? Helping out, promoting activity, etc... I haven't seen any given out for a while.

i got one a week ago i think so they have been given out. Like final said they are just for being a good seeD and keeping the clan active.

While they don't have a specific significance at this moment, they will in a little time. There is a lot of confusion about their purpose... Some say that they are just points, others say that they are like a modified karma system, and a few said at one time or another that they were just to make the place seem more SeeDish (the rank numbers are a reference to FFVIII).

The truth is that they are future leadership ranks which would transcend factions. They are fundamentally the exact same thing as the ranks we've always had (with numbers so they won't conflict with faction-specific systems), but will have different inter-faction purposes when they are needed. Instead of having the system established right off the bat when they are necessary, we are letting it progress a little before the numbers actually mean something. This way we already have the basic system ready and we won't need to go on mass promoting sprees.

Also, the higher the number, the higher the rank.

I haven't seen any given out for a while.

They've been given out, I just haven't been posting notices regarding them.

Because many are confused when it comes to the purpose of the Cafeteria, and while the forum's purpose can be explained, it is easier to see what I'm talking about if I move GD-worthy topics to GD. General Discussion should be a more populated forum according to this and some other threads that were discussed a while back.

Basically, all threads that one wishes to post in a general forum should go into GD, with the exception of a few types of threads which are listed in the linked thread. The way things were a while ago, GD was basically just divided in two for no particular reason between two forums. I'm just trying to give the two forums the purposes they originally had.
