1. Rockets have fins in order to maintain stability during flight.
2. Fins may be added to the bottom of a rocket, or by adding weight to the nose.
3. As far as rockets go, stable means a rocket’s resistance to changing altitude or wobbling.
4. A rounded nose cone; shape one.
5. A small weight, such as clay, can be wedged in the tip of the nose cone, so when it reaches it’s maximum height, it will fall off and deploy the chute.
6. It must fit in a canister, it must be thick enough to not shred in the air, the band below it must be stable, and it must increase the drag enough where the pod will slow down enough to not have it break upon impact.
