Nobody here will do it. I tried it with everyone here before, with multiple reasons of its authenticity, but they all just flamed me.

thats because you gave them a link to your referral so that when they sign up they count towards your five required referrals.

i hope that's not what Nighthawk551 is trying to do.

Thats kinda what you're suppose to do. I gave like an entire page of proof backing up the fact that its not a scam, but all people could say was that its a scam.

Read his last sentence.

but that's advertising. it's not advertising in the sense that you posted a link for them to click, but in the sense that if they clicked that link, it would benefit you.

and also, did you tell them explicitly that if they started their own free ipod offers through that link you posted, they would count towards your referral count?

We don't have problems with people advertising. We have problems with people registering, advertising, then disappearing.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

oh well. it still doesn't justify providing a link for people to click on, when he didn't fully tell the truth about what exactly the people were clicking on.

let me try and put it into different words: it's okay for him to nab a free iPod by posting a link here and having people click on it. it's not costing anyone anything, after all. but is it okay if he doesn't say what the link is? of course, he did say that the link was for a free iPod offer. did he say that anyone clicking on the link would count towards his referrals? again, it's not costing anyone anything. but him posting a link up and telling people only half of the truth about that link, then benefitting from unwitting people clicking on that link, amounts to little more than trickery.

and you know what? let's say my memory is totally backwards and he did actually tell people that he was basically looking for an easy way around the 5 referrals rule by posting it here and hoping 5 people would sign up through his link. does that give him the right to whine about it that no one signed up and he had to complete his offer the way it was meant to be completed?

Hey hey, slow it down Kaez. I merely made this topic to inform those that I had started such an offer, and how it had worked out for me. No, I haven't completed the referrals, and I didn't intend to persuade anyone here to click my link so I may be referred. I did leave out some information about how this works exactly, but as I said "If anyone wants to try this, contact me via MSN for the link." I meant in that sentence if anyone wanted to try it themselves, giving me a referral or not, I would give them more information about it through MSN. I don't believe in advertising links like this on forums, it's not right. I'm not a con artist grnwink.gif .
