I was in one of the most obscure situations yesterday. You probably won't believe it, but I swear it happened.
You see, we have a pool outside our house. And the thing is, ducks like to swim in this pool, whilst leaving rather disgusting mementos. According to one of our neighbours, the best way to keep ducks away from a pool is to put rubber snakes around the pool.
It does absolutely nothing. The ducks have even placed their mementos
on one the rubber snakes. So I thought to myself, "Why don't I chuck the rubber snake around?". And so that is what I did. I picked up the rubber snake (the clean one) and started hammer throwing it. To my surprise, I discovered that rubber snakes actually make very good hammer throws. So good, in fact, that it flew so far that it fell back into the pool. It was at this time that I thought something along the lines of "Oh ****". I ran over to the pool and picked up the leaf scooper, only to find that mum had, for some reason, removed the scoopy bit. I tried to pick up the rubber snake with the pole, but in vain. Then, to my horror, I saw that the creepy-crawly-pool-cleaner-monster-thing was heading straight for the rubber snake. I sprinted over to the filter to turn it off, then sprinted back to the pool to heave out that creepy-crawly-pool-cleaner-monster-thing. It hadn't swallowed up all of the rubber snake, it seemed to have got stuck about the head area. So I was there trying to get the bluddy thing out when, I looked up. Standing there watching we wide-eyed, was half my extended family. Yes, uncles and aunts and cousins etc. The lot. It was then that I remembered that it was 'family dinner party' night, and that they were all here to be greeted by my parents. Instead they were greeted by me standing by the pool, dripping wet, trying to extract a rubber snake from a pool cleaner. And you know what I said to them? You know what I said?
"They make great hammer throws."
Now tell me, have you ever been in a more obscure situation? I can tell you I definately haven't.

That is really quite funny... Good old rubber snakes
