The following is taken from the original UFF clan-site.
We think it is a good explanation of how we define the word ... LEADERSHIP

How to advance and become a leader in UFF

I was wondering how long it will take to become a leader or become more than just a clan member. What do i have to do or how long do i have to be in the clan?

Re: How to advance and become a leader in UFF

That all depends on you. If you do the work of by-example leadership in UFF clan, you are one.

The members list only acknowledges what people do in this clan.

We are not about pinning title labels on character names in flattery.

If you are a leader you will show it. Many want to be called leaders who aren't leaders. They aren't leaders simply because they don't lead.

Victory is not sold in bottles in a drug store. You have to go through the battle if you want the victory.

Likewise leadership is not achieved simply because someone calls you a leader. You have to lead to be a leader.

DefyingScot,

I am really glad to hear this. It is a great example you set, letting the clan know of your work amongst us. I appreciate this also as you let me know of this.

Yes, you should be listed as a leader. It is not length of time of service that we seek but action. What you are doing is action.

Please tell me, was this wilderness training you gave? Quest training? I am most interested to here more.

Truly, we need active leaders in UFF clan.

What do you mean by wilderness training? as in pking to train?...by helping train I meant I could help other members with aspects I am fairly good with...it depends what...could be wood cutting or fletching...could be fishing and cooking...or maybe even combat

Re: How to advance and become a leader in UFF

As there are different kinds of Staff Leaders in UFF clan, it might be more descriptive to refer to you as a "Training Manager".

The words really aren't that important. What is important is that your labor is working for the building up of the UFF clan. Which we greatly appreciate.
