When each of them in turn came in at first there was a faint whiring sound which died away quickly. They could all see eachother and Carlana yelled back to the rest of them, "I can see Dalkindaran!!!"

Edger get himself up and says "Is everyone ok?"

[Darkness]

"I think so.... Let's go catch up with Dalkindaran." Once they get to him he get's up and says, "That was strange... Did anyone get my staff? Ah!!! Thank you Carlana!! I saw the other end of the portal up there and I think we should head over there."

"That sounds go but what is this place" Edger say confused
"This place is unknown to me"

[Darkness]

"This," Dalkindaran spread his arms wide, "Is the land between the worlds. In other words a waygate. We must hurry or else- Oh no!!! It's happening!!!" The world around them had suddenly turned black. Suddenly, a light burst out from where Dalkindaran was. It seemed to be coming from his staff. "We must get to the other end of the portal!!!"

"You don't have to tell me twice let's get a move on" Edger say in a some what panicy voice

[Darkness]

They hurry to where the other side of the portal is but before they make it they see a shadow even blacker than the rest of the black coming toward them. As it gets closer they start to hear little snitches of sentences. They sounded horrible.
"The Black Wind," Dalkindaran yelled. "Run!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Let's get moving then" Edger says while they rush to avoid the the black wind and head to the other portal.

[Darkness]

When they got to the portal, with Dalkindaran in the lead, he put his hand out in front of him to get through the portal faster. When his fingers hit it though, it felt as if they had hit solid glass. He couldn't go through!! It was as if the portal had frozen. The Black Wind got closer and closer....

It was almost to them!!! In desperation Dalkindaran held his staff out in front of him and put his hand over the shadowy orb. The orb glowed flaming red and a blast of fire hit the portal which crashed and exploded. The portal was fluid once again. They ran through the portal just as the black wind got to them. Fortunatley, the Black Wind was binded to the waygatae and it could not venture out of it. They looked around and the land around them was all misty. They could see a huge lake out to the right of them. They could see an island out in the middle of the lake. They followed the road off to the left of them which they had appeared near and walked up to a huge bridge. They crossed and when they reached the island they saw an inn. They looked back and the bridge was gone!! They entered the inn.


OCC: I wonder what inn this is... Well off to that topic now... Nice long post!! Spam free!!
